A bigger circle.
A shared responsibility.
Waldies Foundation is the proposed umbrella identity for an education-and-health-first initiative by Waldies.
A fair chance. For every life.
Education and health are the two foundations of our purpose. Disability, financial hardship or age should not make a person less worthy of opportunity and care.
Waldies funds schools serving children with disabilities, including children born with physical disabilities, and children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Its community support includes people facing poverty irrespective of age and blood donation campaigns.
At the request of the Government of Rajasthan, Waldies is also preparing a tree-planting programme in the state. Waldies works with metals and minerals; planting and caring for trees is one way of giving back to the land.
A home for this work.
The foundation identity brings these activities together around education and health, with tree planting as the way we give back to the land. Our wider community assistance supports that purpose. It also creates space to discuss new campaigns and publish fuller programme information as it becomes available.
Different abilities. Different circumstances. Equal dignity.
Connected to Waldies.
Waldies traces its industrial roots to 1858 in Calcutta. This initiative carries the company name into a distinct community purpose.
That corporate heritage is not presented as a foundation track record. School support and community work are described on their own terms.
A clear identity, honestly presented.
“Waldies Foundation” is a proposed umbrella name. A separately registered charitable entity is not claimed on this website. Existing activities are described from the information provided by Waldies; new campaign proposals are labelled separately.
