Children with disabilities

A place to learn.
A place to belong.

Waldies provides funding support to schools serving children with disabilities. Our purpose is to stand behind the institutions that help children learn, participate and belong.

POSSIBILITY BELONGS TO EVERYONE.

Ability takes
many forms.

A child’s story is bigger than a disability. Our communication should reflect the whole person.

Conceptual artwork; no individual child or actual school is depicted.

Support the school. Support the child.

For a child born with a physical disability, a school is a place to learn, build friendships and discover interests. Waldies supports schools that serve these children through funding.

Our role is to support the institution. Teaching, care and specialist support remain with the school and its qualified teams.

See the child, and the possibility.

Every child has their own interests, strengths and ambitions. The way we communicate this work should reflect that individuality and respect each child’s dignity.

The next step: fewer barriers.

Barrier-Free Schools is a proposed extension of this work: begin with a school-led accessibility review, agree on practical improvements, and include specialist assessment where individual assistive support is needed.
